FIRST programs (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) 

• Maryland FIRST LEGO League Challenge (ages 9-14)  

• FIRST Chesapeake - Maryland FIRST Tech Challenge (ages 12-18). NOTE: Maryland/DC FTC program was acquired by FIRST Chesapeake in August 2020.

• FIRST Chesapeake - FIRST Robotics Competition (ages 14-18)

• Maryland Tech Invitational The 2024 event will be held at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab in Laurel,  June 28-30, 2024.
